About Stockbridge, GA - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Stockbridge is a growing suburb found in the Atlanta Metro Area. As of 2010, the population was approaching 26,000 residents, up from fewer than 10,000 residents only ten years earlier. U.S. Route 23 – the main road throughout the city center – leads 20 miles northwest to downtown Atlanta, and Interstate 75 passes just to the southwest of the city. This convenient location makes Stockbridge a great place to both live and work, with area children attending the many schools that make up the Henry County School District.

With ample attractions, there is no excuse to be bored in Stockbridge. The Road to Tara is one of the most popular destinations, which contains artifacts and collectibles from Gone with the Wind. There are plenty of attractions for families with children, including Pin Strikes, Yule Forest, and the Cottle Farm. Outdoor recreation is incredibly popular in the region, and Stockbridge is home to many parks and green spaces:

  • Panola Mountain State Park
  • Clark Community Park
  • Memorial Park
  • Reeves Creek Trail
  • Gardner Park

These locations are also the setting for several community events and festivals, including the annual Holiday Gala, Bridgefest, and the Sounds of Summer concert series.

Located in Central Georgia, Stockbridge is found within a humid subtropical climate zone. Weather conditions here include long, hot summers. The hottest month of the year is July, and temperatures can easily reach into the upper-90s. High humidity levels will make it feel even warmer, but the right central air conditioner can help. These systems will keep indoor conditioners cool and can reduce allergens and dust from air circulation.

The hot summers will lead to a short, cool winter season. January is the coldest month of the year, but temperatures still stay in the mid-50s. Snowfall is rare, but overnight lows can fall below freezing. A high-quality home furnace of heat pump will keep interior conditions warm while minimizing utility costs.
