About Social Circle, GA - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Social Circle has perhaps the friendliest city name in all of Georgia. This community is located primarily in Walton County, although a portion does extend into Newton County. It is situated about 45 miles to the east of Atlanta with convenient access to Interstate 20. Locals state that the community was named after an incident when residents offered water to a tired traveler, who commented that the city was certainly a “social circle.”

Whether you live in Social Circle or your travels bring you to the area, there are a few interesting things to see or do. Many visitors enjoy a trip to the historic district, which includes the Nebhut-Akridge-Gunter House. There are plenty of specialty shops in Social Circle ranging from Baldwin Antiques and the Social Circle Antique Mall to the Visual Praise Fine Art Studio. This community is also home to a variety of unique restaurants that attract both residents and visitors from neighboring communities, including Willy’s Mex Mex Grill, Blue Willow Inn, and Hot Rod’s Diner.

Social Circle is found in a humid subtropical climate zone, so residents will need to have both home cooling and heating systems at home. A reliable heat pump or furnace is a necessity during the winter months, as overnight lows can fall below freezing. While temperatures often stay in the 50s or warmer during the day, these frigid nightly temperatures can lead to dangerous conditions without the right climate control system in place.

The summer months are more likely to bring weather extremes and uncomfortable conditions. This part of the U.S. is known for its high heat and humidity throughout the summer. Temperatures average in the mid-90s during July and August, and to stay cool, residents may run their central air conditioners almost constantly. An experienced HVAC professional can ensure they stay in proper working order with regular service and maintenance.
